Those are palm trees reclining on a trailer. You can understand why I didn't frame the picture a little better.

This reminds me of a crazy writing prof I had as an undergrad. He would get upset when they cut down trees not far from his cabin in Wisconsin because the land was getting developed. So in the middle of the night, he would steal trees that were about to get cut down and plant them in random yards...

Wow! That's pretty cool. I love that he rescued them. Did people keep the gifted trees?
They did! Though he heard that not everyone was pleased to have some full-grown maple show up in their yard in the middle of the night.
What a nut.
