I must say, the hat is less than impressive. It looks like a bowler.
His full height is a bit less than 6 inches.
Honestly, I imagine that the skin of drowning victims feels a lot like Buck's biceps do. [Shudder]
According to the packaging, he'll go back to his old size if left to his own devices. And I could start the process all over again!
But I think this is one of those life experiences that should remain precious and unique.
Who knows? It may eventually be the basis of another novel. There's been a lot more pathos involved in the past 72 hours than I have felt comfortable intimating.

Even at six inches, he seems to have some sort of 'attitude'! Guess you should be happy that whole six Hundred inches thing did't prove to be accurate!
Thanks for sharing.

PS. Yet, now that I think of it, with wind chills at almost 20 BELOW here in Fort Wayne tonight, I could use a tall cowboy!
Oh my gosh, Deb. That's soooo cold. We've been bemoaning our unusually cold 20 above (and quite a bit of apparent plant death in the yard), but brrr. The winter before we left Fort Wayne the wind chill got down to 60 below. Enough!
Could you post a link to your blog in a comment? I can't seem to find where you did that before. thanks!
Looks like I win the temperature battle. At present it is -5°F, with a windchill of -23°.
Sundry, is his hat a leopard print? Or am I imagining things.
Looks like you definitely got one of the cowboy strippers.
I agree with Moon Topples, he's a stripper.
Hi Sundry,
I would post a link if there were one---but, I don't have a blog. I live Vicariously through those who are more capable and talented.
I am reminded of how much I miss my own writing groups when I read your blog and have been inpired to try my hand again in the creative area lately. But, I would not know where to start with my own blog.
I will keep reading and learning though!
Thanks for sharing yours--I love finding such riches at the click of a mouse.

Ooh, noticing the form below I now wonder if I at some point incorrectly indicated that I did have a blog? If so....sorry.
