Foggy Day in Olde Acton Towne - Wednesday 9/19/2007

Bam! It's fall!

It's only about 55 degrees here in Acton at midmorning. (I'm working from home today, o joy.) It's hard to believe it was over 100 just a couple of weeks ago.

We've been enjoying the return to cool nights. Those weekend morning hikes don't have to be started right at the crack o' dawn in order to be bearable.

I wonder if we'll get the rain tomorrow! My fingers are crossed. It is chilly here in Silver Lake tonight. I actually shut all the windows and pulled out some heavier blankets for the kids. But no lovely fog like that over here.

Where you live is so beautiful...esp. in your photos!

I looove the cooler weather. July and Aug. are my worst months, when I am prone to lethary and depression. But when the cool nights and crisp mornings come back, I feel like I'm getting the gift of myself back to myself again.

Liz - Did you get the rain? We went camping Wednesday night through Sunday (photos to come) and it looks like it rained in Acton. Rained 3 of the 4 nights we camped, but we were safe and warm in our tin can!

CUZ and Stace - Thanks for the comments. It really is pretty!
