I think I heard on the radio a couple of weeks ago that a worker somewhere was injured when removing a shopping cart from a flag pole or something? Maybe this is going to be one of those things that eventually enters urban mythology, like the whole thing with the sneakers flung over power lines. Maybe someone lost his virginity on this spot or something?

The thing that bothers me about this image is that whoever did this probably wasn't even handicapped.

From what I can make out of the surrounding area, I kind of hope not.
