Life's Looking Rosy - Friday 5/27/2007

The miniature rose tree by the driveway is in full bloom. I love these roses. They are about 1 1/2 inches wide. They're perfect for the trio of small seafoam green glass medicine bottles I bought in Lone Pine a few years ago.

I want to wish you well on your vacation. How wonderful for you--what an adventure. I am sure you will relish in every moment and bring back tales to tell.
I loved your post about the Buddha. It brought to mind a favorite moment in Stranger Than Fiction when a small, small thing changes the course of his future. We just never know. I am glad you were there to help her--and equal parts glad and sad that you didn't capture the image of her on the chair. (Does that make me a bad person?)
Have a wonderful time..we will miss you (albeit remotely) and look forward to your return.

Thanks Deb! I'm going to try and post some photos along the way, if I can. Otherwise, I'll have some catching up to do.

I was in Fort Wayne last July (and took pix, of course). I sure know what you mean...like the way you put it.
